This morning, the decision we have feared and worked to prevent came to pass. The Supreme Court’s 6-3 ruling in Dobbs v. Jackson Women’s Health Organization overturned a half century of constitutionally protected abortion rights as affirmed in Roe and Casey. The decision is tragic for those who will have their reproductive rights taken away and for the country overall.
Now, we continue the fight. Here is a list of opportunities for action that will be essential going forward.
Women of Reform Judaism will also be hosting a havdalah on Saturday July 9 for the Reform community. Registration link.
In this moment of pain, may this Shabbat bring a measure of peace and comfort.
