The RJCC is governed by the RJCC Board of Directors that works in close partnership with our professional staff. The board is comprised of lay leaders who belong to RJCC congregations across Canada as well as representatives of our partners and several affiliate organizations.  Lay and professional leaders of the Reform Community lend their talent and expertise to joint initiatives, on which the RJCC is joined by our Reform organizations. Through their deliberations, the initiatives help determine the Community's position on critical issues affecting every Reform Jew, such as social justice and political concerns. There are also several committees that report their results in recommendation to the board that work to further the agenda of the RJCC. These committees include:
