Our community holds our “ahavat Israel”, our love of Israel, with respect and acceptance of a diversity of perspectives. We all love Israel in our own way, and our love of Israel unites us.

• We engage with Israel individually, as congregations and also collectively through our affiliate organization ARZA Canada. 

​

• Canadian Reform congregations were originators of the “Shinshinim” program, partnering with the UJA (United Jewish Appeal) that brings Israeli youth emissaries to live, learn and teach, and to build relationships with Jews in Canada. 

​

• ARZA Canada connects with Reform Jewish communities throughout Canada, to help foster connections and a better understanding of Israel. We also promote partnerships between Canadian and Israeli Reform congregations, supporting them to get to know each other and learn from one another. 

​

• ARZA strengthens our community’s ties to the Israel Movement for Reform and Progressive Judaism (IMPJ), supporting their efforts to promote social justice, equality, religious pluralism and the values that are important to Reform Jews.
